Reporting content or a person
Fastest from inside the app: tap the ⋯ on any post and choose Report, or Block to stop seeing someone entirely. Both work immediately and do not wait on us.
If something is urgent or you cannot reach it in the app, email us with a description and, if you can, the handle involved.
Deleting your account
Profile → Delete account. It removes your profile, synced diary, posts, votes, lists, claims, follows, reports and blocks permanently and immediately. Your diary stays on your own device unless you delete the app too.
Export a copy first from Profile → Export your data if you want to keep it.
Common questions
Why is my diary empty on a new phone?
Because it lives on the device, not on our servers. Press Sync diary on the old phone while signed in, then sign in on the new one. Anything not synced never left the first device.
Why does the same anime appear several times?
Each season, film and OVA is a separate entry that you rate on its own, which is deliberate — a great first season and a weak third are not one score. Open any title and tap How to watch to see the whole franchise in order.
Why is a filler flag wrong?
Filler and canon marks are added by other people using the app, so they are occasionally wrong. Every claim shows how many people agree with it, and you can disagree with one or add your own. Claims nobody supports and several people reject are hidden automatically.
Where does the anime information come from?
AniList. If a title is missing or wrong there, it will be missing or wrong here too — fixing it on AniList fixes it in Kaisho.
Why did nothing happen when I turned on episode reminders?
Notifications are probably off for Kaisho in iOS Settings. The app will offer to open Settings for you. Reminders cover what you are watching or have on your watchlist.
Do I need an account?
No. The diary, ratings, watcher type and franchise guides all work without one. An account is only needed for the community half: friends, discussions, lists and syncing between devices.
